Ruth is a former attorney who got to play one on Disney+ in Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Upcoming releases include three features, a sci-fi short film and a commercial.

Accolades include best actress nominations (Midwest Film Festival’s Best of the Midwest Awards, Women’s Comedy Film Festival Chicago and Reel Comedy Fest) for Open House, which won Best Dark Comedy at Women’s Comedy Film Festival Chicago, and a best actress honorable mention from the Crown Point International Film Festival for Me, Myself & I, a short she wrote, directed, plays three roles in and filmed by herself.

Her credits include dozens of TV shows, feature and short films, commercials, web series and industrials and thousands of voiceovers including commercials, e-learning courses, medical/pharma narration, explainer videos and characters. National and international clients say she has a gift for making dry or technical copy sound interesting. Some of her projects are available to view online.

She has improvised at venues including ComedySportz and iO and has extensive improv and corporate role playing experience. Her improvisational speed talking has been featured on America’s Funniest People and productions including a 24-hour event streamed on Facebook.

Ruth sold her first feature film screenplay in 2023. A storyteller who presents workshops including “Essential Sales Skills for Actors” and “Improv for Authors,” she’s the award-winning author of two humorous novels (including My Life as a Star – Top Comedy, Launch Pad Prose Competition 2020), four historical romances and dozens of articles.
